"On Patch Pond" is located in the tiny township of Busick, N.C. and is tucked away from all the hustle bustle of tourist towns, yet only minutes from the High Country area attractions. Enjoy the pleasures of outside dining on the large rear or front deck or in the enclosed screen porch. The home is equipped with washer and dryer. All bed and bath linens are provided. There is also cable TV, VCR and DVD player for your use as well as High Speed Cable Internet access. There is a gas grill located on the front deck. New Air Conditioning unit has recently been installed in this home to help keep you comfortable on hot Summer days.

This quaint home has 3 bedrooms with 3 baths and can easily accommodate up to 6 guests. The upstairs loft master bedroom with a king size bed has a wall of windows which provide a view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Patch Pond. On the ground level there are 2 additional bedrooms. One with a queen size bed and the other has two twins.There are two decks and an enclosed screen porch. The front deck faces Patch Pond and the Blue Ridge Mountains. The rear deck with its hot tub faces the Black Mountains.

On Patch Pond is like a bridge between the serenity of the pond's calm clear water which is off the front deck and the more dramatic view of the mountains from the rear deck. Branch water from the Black Mountains continuously feeds and replenishes the pond's cool waters.

On warm Summer days the top layer of water is comfortable for swimming. Dive down and yes, the temperature quickly drops to that more referential to its mountain source. Bathing in the hot tub and watching the sunset over the Black Mountains will be a good transition from your swim.

If you can take your eyes off the stunning Black Mountains viewscape and look up... You'll see the sky through the 7 operable roof windows. Out front, you'll see the hot tub; out back the pond... Upstairs, a slate double shower under yet another skylight.

Only one mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway.
